Ten Commandments

Here are the Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

1. Worship no other gods

Worship only the Lord

2. Make no idols

Do not worship idols

3. Do not misuse God’s name

Honor the name of the Lord

4. Keep the Sabbath holy

Dedicate seventh day to worship

5. Honor your parents

Respect your father and mother

6. Do not murder

Protect human life

7. Do not commit adultery

Be faithful in marriage

8. Do not steal

Respect others’ property

9. Do not lie

Be truthful

10. Do not covet

Avoid envy of other people
